If you’ve been following Nine Inch Nails for a while you’re probably aren’t too thrilled about Josh Freese leaving the band. Since the announcement Hard core fans have been in disarray about who will take the place of the man who has been a driving force of this massive sound for the past three years.

 

 

 

Stories of other projects, bands feuds and even rumors of break ups surfaced, but through it all Josh has remained the consummate professional he is- not allowing these distractions take away from the musical art itself or affect the relationship with his band mates. Fact of the matter is….the man just needs a break- as explained in his most recent statement.

"So, I've been wanting to write something for a while now explaining why I am leaving NINE INCH NAILS at the end of the year. Not that it's THAT big of a deal or important compared to other real shit going on out there in the world, but I figured I'd take a minute out to explain anyhow. I know a few people are aware that I'm having my third child in January and basically... that about SUMS IT UP!"
