Sparks flew last night as Guitar Center kicked of the 20th anniversary of their world famous drum-off competition. Some of today's biggiest names such as Thomas Pridgen, Chris Coleman, and Tony Royster Jr. got launched their careers by winning the competiton and the next big superstar is still out there waiting to be discovered.

Last night friends and family came out to Orlando store 777 to show support for all the participating contestants. As the night ended it was Andrew Perillo (left) and Ricky Maldonado (right) who will move to the store finals on Oct 14th. Make sure you don't miss the next round 9/30/08 at a GC near you.
