This is musician John Pascuzzi of "a single thread" performing an original tune called Space Bunnies. The instrument you see him playing is called a Hang Drum with a contact mic running through a guitar processor for the echo effect. Hang means "hand" in the Bernese language, and is pronounced "hung ot hong". The Hang was developed in Switzerland and was the result of many years of research on the steelpan and the study of the diverse collection of instruments from around the world.
