Thanks for the compliment. Yes, I'm absolutely happy with my Gretsch Catalina Club Kit despite the hardware being stripped. I bought this one used from GC awhile back and didn't realize until I went to change the heads that the tom lugs were stripped. Other than that, this is the best sounding kit in the house... and I cannot explain why.
The toms are incredible, the kick drum is small and responsive, yet the kit is so simple (not too much, not too little) that it makes it a blast to play. I would highly recommend a Gretsch Catalina Club kit (priced around $600 new?) for anyone who's a beginner or a gigging drummer.

Great video tour!! I definitely enjoyed this one . Thank you for sharing this with us. Keep up the good work. You inspire me. By the way, are you happy with the catalina club kit?
