Homero Chavez will be holding a cajon clinic in which he will focus on afrocuban traditions. He is an Independent Drummer, Percussionist, currently serving as the
President for the Percussive Arts Society in the State of California.
Homero has an ergonomic signature Cajon in the market getting great
reviews by Latin Beat Magazine and Drum Magazine and Modern Drummer. He
wrote the article El Cajon published by Percussive Notes he also,
produced a pod cast on I-tunes. His latest CD "El Canto De La Gente" is
gotten great reviews in the USA and Mexico. He has toured extensively
throughout Asia, Canada, Europe, Middle East, North and South America
to many Music and Drum Festivals. As a community member of Pomona CA
Homero is an active contributor within the youth movement, promoting
percussion activity through programs like “Stomp Kids” and a yearly
Summer Camp for kids 6-14 yrs. This summer he will also, do clinics
throughout the USA, Russia, Mexico and Canada.
He endorses Peace Drums, Kotz Tone Cajon, TMC Amplification, Triplet Drum Goloves, Phatfoot, and Factory Metal Percussion.
