One way to spice up your sextuplets around the kit is to start breaking them up between your hands and your feet. This lesson gives several examples of how to accomplish this by simply playing the first four strokes on your hands, and the last two on your feet. Once you can speed this up and start sweeping across the toms you can come up with some really impressive sounding stuff! Just remember to start SLOW and make your strokes consistent.
