Drummer need for Chronicle Indianapolis band (together 3 yrs) Near North Indy

We were looking for a Drummer. Once we secure a new drummer our musicianship/vocals will be full and complete. We have a decent Yamaha drum kit at practice location, so no need to haul drums to practice ...

Our band, Chronicle currently has five members. The band plays a mix of cover and original music. Style is pop, Latin jazz, blues and rock. I play guitar/harmonica/vocals. We have a keyboard/synth (Wayne) who writes and does lead vocals; Lead guitar/blues vocals (Jim); Bass/backup vocals (Dave); my wife, Amy, who does vocals. Our lead guitarist has a "Blues" backround. We are doing more covers, eg. "Susie Q" (Creedence Clearwater Revival), "Story in Your Eyes" (Moody Blues), "Fever", "Imagine" "You Can't Do That (Beatles)....

We recently played for Geist Mini-Marathon and had good response. We played at Locals Only with the following response:
"A number of folks in the audience came up to us and shared how much they had enjoyed our performance. One woman said that we looked like we "enjoyed what we were doing"..."that makes a difference in how the audience feels about the performance." Other people came up to us and shook our hands. One person said our sound reminded him of Pink Floyd."

We would like to play two to four times per month. We will likely play at the Artsgarden (downtown Indy) for the 2nd time in September, 2008. We are also lining up jobs with Monkey's Tail and the Upper Room in Broad Ripple.
