We have received a tremendous response lately of people telling us they like what we are doing. We appreciate this greatly as it makes us feel like we're giving you what desire in a site like this. However, the real potential is yet to come when users such as yourself start getting involved with finding the interesting things about Drumming and sharing it with us.
Right now, three of us (Eric / drumfreak, Damian / King, Keith / that Drummer Kid) cover as much ground as we possibly can going to every local and some distant event to bring back pictures, experiences and learn about new products. You can join our team in your local area and do the same! All you need is a camera, some time and desire to come back and tell the world what it's like in your neck of the woods. We've enabled you to do all of these things!
Here's some sections to our website that may help you to get started:
Youtube - You can go to Youtube.com and find a video you like and then go to your Add Youtube link and add these videos to your profile by simply filling out a small form and providing the URL to the video you liked. For example (http://youtube.com/watch?v=OSGukffBlmA&feature=related). You can add as many of these as you want! There's no limit, just be descriptive and use good titles in your entries. The more descriptive you are, the more relevant it is and the more value it has to other users viewing the content. It also helps search engines.
Video - You can upload most video formats to our website as well, and we'll display them much like Youtube. Our process is not as easy as Youtube's but you can surely figure it out easily. Just click the Upload Video link on your right sidebar of the website when you are not viewing the forums.
Audio - Of course Audio is the easiest way to be heard! Upload your audio in MP3 format to our website. The maximum supported format is 44,100 hz and 160 kbps. Anything larger will not play properly. To add this audio, simply upload it to the website by clicking the Upload link on your right sidebar.
If your upload links are nod displayed, click the Hard Drive icon in the fancy menu at the top of the Right Sidebar when you are not viewing the forums.
More will follow, so please check this guide frequently.
