I went to Dallas, about 3 weeks ago, and i went to a place called Troy's Drum Shop. i tried out a kit by 'Spaun Drums' it was the perfect sound, but it comes with a giant price tag. if you have the money buy them. they are great.

Yeah, they're not cheap. But one thing to our benefit as far as the economy goes it that now it's a BUYER'S market. Try to negotiate what you can.

Those are some nice kits. The only problem is the price on those beasts is... extreme I guess I could say.

yea, they look great, the one i played was a 7 peice kit, i'm pretty sure it was
1-bass drum, 22x16
5-toms 10x8, 12x10, 13x10, 16x16, and 16x18
and the snare was i think 7x13
the thing that made it catch my eye, was the awesome finish on it, it was a lava color with gold hardware looked great.
probably the best (and most expensive) kit i've ever seen.

Spaun makes good stuff, you just don't see too many full kits anywhere for some reason. Most stores just carry their snare drums but no full kits. And they look great! The pricing is a little silly though.
