First of all I'm not a Vruk endorser. I'm just some dude who has played drums since he was a kid and love to break the rules and invalidate traditions that don't hold value to a drummer of the modern age.
Been playing since 1978, but discovered the vruk 5 years ago and would never....I repeat....never go back to the standard pedal ever again. What this tool/method does for one's bass drum technique is truly remarkable. Your entire drumming paradigm will change. Your beats will be stronger. Your syncopation absolutely sick. You will be able to play for hours and hours without fatigue.
I cannot say enough about this revolutionary tool/method. I say method because this is not a cheater tool and it is not for the faint of heart. It sits there doing nothing until you employ it. You have to willing to work, work, work to understand the vruk. But, once you do, there is no going back. The things you can do with a vruk are manifold compared to the stale standard pedal ( yuk! ).
Let's start a discussion.

Believe it or not you can play ghost notes, and buzz strokes with the vruk.
Buzz strokes and ghost notes with the bass drum???? The possibilities are insane and endless.
