Today's lesson is very similar to Applying Triplets to Fills Part 1. We're still going to practice playing the basic accent patterns (from the Triplet Rhythms PDF download) as rim shots on the snare drum while keeping the steady flow of 8th note Triplets going in between. For Part 1 we put together a Linear Groove that consists of a 3 beat sticking pattern that repeats to make a one bar groove.
